Our Families

We are blessed to have so many family members who are actively involved with their loved one’s care and who take part in the day-to-day routine.  We encourage family members and friends of residents to stop by whenever they can!

Each month we host Family Gatherings at each of our four Lincoln locations.  These events provide a fun opportunity to share a snack or a meal, and to participate in activities with your loved one. It is also a great time to meet the other residents and their families.

Family members are also invited to participate in our activities and outings.  Each month we publish a newsletter and calendar for each of the houses so you can plan to attend activities as you desire or as your schedule allows.

Families and guests of residents are also invited to join their loved one for meals.  We have meal cards that family members can purchase.  You may join your loved one by reserving a meal or ask the administrator about availability.

Quality of Life

Monthly Support Group

Each month we offer a Support Group for family members.

The Wednesday Family Support Group meets at 9:30am every 4th Wednesday at the Staybridge Suites, 1501 86th Street in Lincoln (Just east of the corner of 84th & Holdrege, on the other side of Amigo’s).

Our goal is to enhance your understanding and to assist family members in coping with your loved one’s memory loss. It is comforting to talk or just listen to others who are also trying to find ways to cope. You will feel less lonely and isolated and have confirmation that your feelings are “normal.”

All support groups are free and open to the public. For the Wednesday Family Support Group, please call Joy Larsen at 402-475-7755 or email us for more information.
